The Bar

honey i was sad 

cuz i had a bad day

so i went to the bar

what else can i say

all i wanted was some peace time

alone with my drink

a little time to sort things out

let the devil think

so i sat there

void thoughts doing the thinking

when all of a sudden i realised

the bar was sinking

now here's a little secret

somethng i've always carried along

my lil' scuba diving suit

just for such times wrong

i threw it on and waited

for the water to rush in

but honey i was mistaken

cuz it was all vodka n gin

now heres the irony

of man and alcohol

what do i do when

i have ta swim instead of fall

so i swam in it

gluged whatever came close

untill the familiar feeling 

in me arose

light headed i floated

now floating is fair

cuz thats what you do in water

n thats what you do in air

any ways it was such fun

to smile and laugh all around

when all of a sudden 

i boinked unto the ground

n everything was clear

like it was before

no flooded corners

no swimming no more

all eyes were on me

ah !! damn !! shoot !!

cuz in the middle ..there i sat

wearing my scuba suit !
